Previously we saw Realme teasing the 5G version of the Realme 8 series is all set to make its global debut with Thailand. We even got the official renders showing the new Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro in full glory. Now ahead of the official launch we have one more deice which might make its debut with budget Realme 8i.
Yes, Realme might also introduce the new Realme 8i alongside with Realme 8 5G series. As per the source, the alleged Realme 8i has been certified by TENAA now and comes with model number Realme RMX2205. It is running on Android 11 OS with Realme UI 2.0 on top.
As per the image, the new Realme 8i will comes with the same big rectangular camera module carrying three sensors on the back. Not just that the device will also feature a huge Dare To Leap logo too and will have a plastic back. On the front, corner placed punch-hole display with volume rockers and power buttons on the right.
The unusual fact is that Realme 8i has no sign of a fingerprint sensor nor on the back or side. So this might be the first time Realme 8i could get an in-display fingerprint scanner that indirectly confirms AMOLED display. Anyway, the listing confirms that Realme 8i will sport 6.43 inches FHD+ AMOLED display. It measures 8.4 mm thick and 180g in weight.
All this is packed with a lower 4400 mAh battery and comes with Dual SIM with 5G support. Still, we are not sure whether the leaked device is exactly the Realme 8i or some other phone.
