After the leak of the Realme 8 5G expected launch date, the company has officially revealed the first look of the device. Yes, Realme has now shared a new teaser video on its FaceBook account which shows the new Realme 8 5G in full glory.
As per the post, the new Realme 8 5G will again be a rebranded smartphone, so any guess which phone it could be? It’s none other than the recently announced budget 5G aka Realme V13 5G in China. The video shows the Realme 8 5G featuring a plastic back with a quad-cameras arrangement similar to the recently launched Realme V13 5G.
Do note that the Realme 8 5G will not have huge Dare To Leap branding this time which is good. Further, the 5G version of Realme 8 will get downgraded cameras with a 48MP main sensor. The remaining three sensors will be the same as the 4G variant. Sadly, the video doesn’t show the front look of the Realme 8 5G. But we can expect a punch-hole display on the front.
Further, the alleged Realme 8 5G has also hit Geekbench which is listed as RMX3241 that is running on Android 11 OS. From the listing, the Realme 8 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM. With Realme 8 5G looks similar to Realme V13 5G we can expect the device to sport 6.55 inches FHD+ 90Hz refresh rate IPS LCD display.
It will ship with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and features 18W fast charging support. All this will be packed with a 5000 mAh battery and comes with additional NFC support.
Lastly, the video also reveals the launch date for Realme 8 5G which is scheduled on April 21 in Thailand.
