Google is all set to announce some new smartphones this year under the Pixel lineup with the new Pixel 6 series and the affordable Pixel 5a. Previously we saw the 3D CAD renders showing the Pixel 5a in full glory. We even spotted the alleged Pixel 6 codename listed on Android 12 firmware.

Now open beta version of Android 12 OS has just leaked the first feature of the new Pixel 6. Yes, we will finally get the much-awaited feature on the Pixel 6 finally any guess? The new in-display fingerprint support being added as part of the Android 12 OS which might debut with Pixel 6.

As per the source, they have spotted the mention of ‘UdfpsControllerGoogle’ code on the latest Android 12 DP. The UDP stands for an under-display fingerprint which is part of com.google.android.systemui which confirms that it could come with the next flagship.

Not just this Google is also trying to add both facial-recognition and in-display fingerprint scanner to unlock the device.
