ISOCELL Dual, ISOCELL Slim, ISOCELL

Looks like we have got a new ISOCELL sensor from Samsung to take the megapixel game to the next level. Previously we saw leaks showing that Samsung will soon introduce the whopping 200MP camera sensor in the future.

Now Samsung has officially started teasing the next ISOCELL sensor with a whopping 200MP sensor size. As per the post, Samsung mentions ‘Dear shutterbug, what do you expect the most from smartphone camera?’  It also includes a teaser video that shows a 200MP sensor with five more sensors.

So basically the upcoming phone could ship with not four but six rear cameras including the 200MP main sensor. Not just that there will also be a dual selfie camera under the pill-shaped notch. Further, the new 200MP camera will be powered by an Exynos chipset.

Further, we also got a leak suggesting that the first smartphone with the new 200MP sensor will not be from Samsung. So any guess? It will be from ZTE with the upcoming flagship ZTE Axon 30 Pro. As per the source, the new ZTE Axon 30 Pro will ship with a new 200MP Samsung S5KGND sensor with a sensor size of 1/1.37″, a pixel size of 1.28um, and a pixel focus size of 0.64um.

The new Samsung sensor will come with dual native ISO, 16K video output support, and quad-core focus. Sadly, Samsung will not announce any new chipset for 200MP camera support as the Galaxy S21 powered Exynos 2100 SoC already supports this resolution.
