After a year-long wait and back to back leaks Samsung finally raises the curtain from the Galaxy A52 & Galaxy A72 today. Yes, Samsung officially unveiled the new Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 in India and Global markets. Sadly, the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 will come with 4G support for India and global markets get 5G variant.
Samsung Galaxy A52 4G/5G:
The new Galaxy A52 4G/5G looks similar to Galaxy A72 4G with centre placed punch-hole display on the front. The back gets a quad-camera setup similar to Galaxy A72 5G with LED flash and might come with an in-display fingerprint scanner. On the right, the device comes with a power button with volume rockers. On the bottom of the device, we have got the USB Type-C port along with speaker mesh. It measures 8.4 mm thick and weighs over 187g.
The Galaxy A52 4G will sport 6.5 inches FHD+ 90Hz Infinity-O AMOLED displays whereas the 5G variant with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be again powered by SD720G SoC for 4G and SD750G on 5G model coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. It also gets a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion.
The device will indeed ship with quad-rear cameras with a 64MP main sensor (f/1.8), 12MP ultra-wide (f/2.2), 5MP depth plus 5MP macro sensor (f/2.4) with LED flash & OIS. It features a 32MP (f/2.2) selfie sensor. It features stereo speakers with Dolby Audio support.
It comes packed with a 4500 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. The Galaxy A72 will run on Android 11 with One UI 3.1 on top. Further, the Galaxy A52 4G also gets an IP67 rating making it dust and water-resistant. It comes in four new colours with black, white, blue and lavender.
The source also revealed that Galaxy A52 4G will cost around 349 Euros (Rs.30,800/-) & 5G model at 429 Euros (Rs.38,000/-). The new Galaxy A52 will set you back as it cost Rs. 26,499 for the 6GB+128GB & 8GB+128GB at Rs.27,999/- in India.
