Previously we saw few patent leaks showing the first look of the new Galaxy A82 5G in full glory. Now probably that patent might turn out to be true as Samsung Galaxy A82 5G has now hit Geekbnech. Yes, the successor to Galaxy A80 is finally going to land this year as Galaxy A82 5G.
As per the listing, the new Galaxy A82 5G is listed as SM-A826S which is running on the latest Android 11 OS with One UI 3.1 on top. Sadly, the new Galaxy A82 5G will be using the outdated SD855+ SoC which is disappointing. Yes, Samsung is going way back to 2019 again to power the latest Galaxy A82 5G.
Anyway, the device comes with 6GB RAM and likely to ship with 128GB of storage space. Lastly, the device managed to secure a not so impressive 755 under single and 2630 under multi-core test. More details will be out in the coming months and we hope Samsung may use a better and powerful processor.
