VAIO has now officially launched its first-of-its-kind premium laptop with VAIO Z (2021). The major thing is the built yes, the VAIO Z (2021) is the world’s first laptop built on a 3D mold made out of Carbon Fiber. Not just that, the laptop is also super light in weight which weighs just 982g. Further, the VAIO Z (2021) gets MIL-STD-810H requirement which makes the laptop survive a 4.1ft drop.
The new VAIO Z (2021) will sport 14-inch 4K HDR LCD with 99.8% of DCI-P3 color gamut and also have a 1080p model. The laptop comes powered by an 11th Generation Intel Core i7 H35 Series processor coupled with 8GB RAM with the option to expand up to 32GB. It ships with a faster 256GB PCIe Gen 4 SSD with the option to expand up to 2TB.
The connectivity option includes a single USB-C (Thunderbolt 4), HDMI output, and headphone jack. It also gets a fingerprint scanner with Windows Hello unlock feature. The VAIO Z (2021) also gets opens and closes the laptop up to 180-degrees. It also has a shortcut key with Fn+2 for rating the display. It also gets Dolby Audio support and features dual stereo speakers.
The VAIO Z (2021) 1080p display model can last for 34 hours of standby time whereas the 4K variant with 17 hours of battery life packs a 53Wh battery. It comes with 65W PD fast charge support. There is also premium VAIO Z SIGNATURE EDITION with Signature Black that comes with carbon fiber texture, and carbon black colors.
VAIO Z 2021 with Intel Core i5-11300H, 8GB RAM, and 256GB SSD will cost 272,580 yen (Rs.1,87,300/-). The VAIO Z SIGNATURE EDITION with FHD screen, i7-11375H, 16GB RAM and 256GB SSD starts at 366,080 yen (Rs.2,51,500/-) and one with 4K display at 22,000 Yen (Rs.15,200/-) extra.
