Honor has finally announced its very first launch event of 2021 for the new Honor V40 series in China. Previously we got leaks about Honor might launch the new Honor V40 on Jan 12 which now turns out to be false. We even got various leaks showing the Honor V40 first look with a waterfall display.
Now Honor officially starts teasing the new Honor V40 on Weibo. As per the post by Honor China CEO revealed the launch date along with the first look of the Honor V40. The new Honor V40 5G will go official on Jan 18 in China through an online-only event.
From the render, Honor V40 will arrive with a curved or waterfall display on the front with almost bezel-less sides. The new Honor V40 will indeed arrive with an in-display fingerprint scanner this time. On the top-right corner of the display, we have a pill-shaped notch for dual selfie cameras.
The new Honor V40 will feature metal chassis on the sides and might come with a glass back with a glossy finish. On the right, there is a power button along with volume rockers and on the bottom, we have a USB Type-C port with speaker mesh. More details will be out in the coming days.
