Xiaomi announced the new flagship with Mi 11 ahead of 2021 and we saw the smartphone is already popular among the masses. Now Xiaomi’s sister company Redmi too planning to introduce a much cheaper version of Mi 11 soon in China next.
As per the reports, Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi is looking to introduce its first-ever SD888 SoC flagship much more sooner than expected. According to the source, Redmi might launch its first cheapest SD888 SoC smartphone with model number K11 in China next. Yes, the device is codenamed Haydn model K11.
Apart from this nothing much about the alleged cheapest flagship is revealed at the moment. But in previous leaks, we already got the alleged images showing the Redmi K40 series weird camera layout and design. Although the previous reports revealed that the Redmi K40 series could use MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ SoC. This time and this model which being leaked might turn out a new device after all.
Redmi K40 Pro:
Further, we even got the new render of Redmi K40 Pro leaked by not so popular source. From the leaked render, we can take a guess as it might be fan-made but it’s too early to comment. The render just reveals the rear camera design of the new Redmi K40 Pro which looks like completely new design this time.
The new Redmi K40 will feature three sensors aligned vertically with one been on top and a dual big sensor just below it. On the right, we have probably two more sensors with depth and macro along with LED flash and Laser AF. So total of five rear cameras on the new flagship Redmi K40 Pro.
Anyway, it’s too early for us to comment on whether the next smartphone from Redmi will be the K40 series or something new coming up.
