Previously we saw few leaks popping up revealing that Honor might soon introduce the cheaper version of the Huawei Mate40 series with the Honor V40 series. But that didn’t happen instead Huawei just sold off the Honor brand last month. Now we have got leaks revealing the first look of the alleged Honor V40.
According to the source, they have just got the alleged official press renders showing the Honor V40 in full glory. From the image, the Honor V40 design reminds us of the last year launched Huawei Mate30 Pro. Yes, the Honor V40 comes with a dual-selfie punch-hole curved waterfall display on the front.
On the back, the Honor V40 features a circular camera module carrying four rear cameras with LED flash and Leica branding. Further, the render reveals that Honor V40 uses an aspherical lens from Leica. On the bottom, the Honor V40 comes with a USB Type-C port with speaker mesh and a SIM card slot. There is the power button on the right and volume rockers towards the left.
Sadly, still we have no details about when exactly the Honor V40 will go official. More details will be out in the coming weeks.
Honor V40 Specs:
The new Honor V40 series will go official by December in China and might have limited release in Global markets. As per the source, the new Honor V40 series will ship with 6.72 inches FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rates. It will use pill-shaped notch this time and comes with the dual-selfie shooter.
The Honor V40 Pro+ will indeed be powered by the latest Kirin 9000 SoC whereas the Honor V40 Pro with Dimensity 1000+ SoC. The Honor V40 Pro might feature the same 50MP triple camera setup on the back whereas the Honor V40 Pro+ with 50MP quad-cameras. The Honor V40 series will indeed arrive with 66W wired fast charging and 40W fast wireless charging support.
