Previously we saw Xiaomi launching the new Redmi Note 9 series in China with both 5G and 4G support. Later we saw leaks popping up about the Redmi Note 9 series expansion to other regions including India. We even got to know that Xiaomi planning to relaunch the Redmi Note 9 4G as Redmi 9 Power and Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G as Mi 10i in India.
Now Xiaomi has officially shared the teaser revealing that they will soon launch the new Redmi 9 Power in India. As per the teaser, the new Redmi 9 Power will be landing Indian shores by 17th Dec. Further, the teaser doesn’t reveal much about the device but on the official website we get the major highlights of the device.
As per the Xiaomi official website, the new Redmi 9 Power will feature a waterdrop display on the front similar to Redmi Note 9 4G. Further, on the back, the Redmi 9 Power will ship with 48MP quad-cameras and will also feature Hi-Res Audio, stereo speakers.
The new Redmi 9 Power will arrive in four different colors similar to Redmi Note 9 4G. Lastly, the listing also mentions a big battery and power-packed processor but doesn’t reveal any details about it. So with this we can say that the new Redmi 9 Power is nothing but rebranded Redmi Note 9 4G.
Further, we even got the render showing the Redmi 9 Power which confirms the design will be similar to Redmi Note 9 4G but with slight camera changes. Yes, the new Redmi 9 Power will come with 48MP Super Quad camera instead of triple camera. Apart from this all the other specs will be exactly the same as Redmi Note 9 4G.
