As per the listing on HTML5, the alleged ASUS ROG Phone 5 is listed as ASUS_I005DA and ASUS_I005DB. The listing doesn’t reveal anything much about the new ROG Phone 5. So you guys might be thinking how can we tell the next smartphone from ASUS will be ASUS ROG Phone 5?
So here is the answer many of the Chinese companies never launch their devices with number 4 as they treat it as unlucky. Not just that we also have another reason to confirm that it will be called ASUS ROG Phone 5 as the model number clearly mentions number 5 (ASUS_I005DA).
Further, the new ASUS ROG Phone 5 was also spotted on Geekbench which has given us the key specs of the device. As per the listing, the new ASUS ROG Phone 5 will arrive with model number ASUS_I005DA same as above which is now running on Android 11 OS.
The ASUS ROG Phone 5 is now powered by recently launched SD888 SoC aka the LAHANIA processor with 8GB RAM. It might ship with 128GB/256GB storage options. The listing revealed that ASUS ROG Phone 5 scores not so impressive 1081 under single and 3584 under multi-core test.
