Previously we got to know the detailed specs of the upcoming flagship from Motorola aka the Nio. Sadly, the leak didn’t reveal the renders or any sort of CAD design of the device. Now the popular tipster Evan Blass has managed to dig in and released the first look of the new Motorola Nio.
As per the source, the new Motorola Nio is the upcoming flagship from the company. The device will be using the Snapdragon 800 series processor probably the SD865 SoC. But recently at the Snapdragon Summit Motorola revealed they will soon introduce the cheaper Moto G flagship with SD888 SoC. So now we are still not sure the Moto Nio is the same device or different model at the moment.
Anyway, from the image we can see the Moto G 5G Plus like dual punch-hole display on the front. It comes with an almost bezel-less display with slightly thicker bezels on the chin portion of the device. The Motorola Nio might use flat display to keep the cost on the lower side. Sadly, still we don’t have the image showing the rearview of the device. The source also reveals that Motorola Nio will feature Samsung DeX like desktop interface which will be even coming soon to other Moto Handsets.
Specs:
The upcoming Motorola Nio will again come with SD865 SoC as the Motorola Edge+. It is listed as Moto XT2125 which is the model number of the device. It comes in two storage options with 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB. The Motorola Nio sports FHD+ display with 90Hz refresh rates.
The new Motorola Nio will feature triple rear cameras with 64MP main OmniVision OV64B sensor, 16MP 16MP OmniVision OV16A10 ultra-wide lens and 2MP OmniVision OV02B1B depth sensor. This time the device will feature dual-selfie cameras with 16 MP sensor OmniVision OV16A1Q main sensor and 8MP ultra-wide Samsung S5K4H7 sensor.
Lastly, the alleged Motorola Nio comes with Dual SIM support and runs on Android 11 OS out of the box. The alleged Motorola Nio will be official some time by Q1 of 2021.
