Oppo had scheduled a new Inno Event in China yesterday where the company shows its innovation made to date. At the event, Oppo showed the very first rollable display smartphone aka the new Oppo X 2021. Yes, Oppo showed the prototype of its future smartphone aka Oppo X 2021 at the event.
As per the company, the new Oppo X 2021 is the next concept phone from the company after the success of Oppo N1 and Oppo Find X. The major change in the smartphone era is the self-expanding display with just one touch on the side. Yes, you heard it right the new Oppo X 2021 comes with an expanding display whose original size is 6.7 inches.
Once the user touches the side the screen will expand to 7.4 inches. Not just that, the screen also auto adjust the aspect ratio of the display. The Oppo X 2021 uses an OLED panel with a company’s own Warp Track high-strength screen laminate part of which sits below the actual display and is just 0.1mm thick at its thinnest point.
The device comes with dual motors that will rotate below the display which helps to expand and retract the display. The Oppo X 2021 comes with a 2-in-1 plate design with no segment gaps and the presence of two metal frames prevents the display from collapsing.
As of now, there is no word when exactly the new concept phone Oppo X 2021 will hit the market.
