Previously we saw various leaks about OnePlus planning to launch the OnePlus 9 series earlier than expected. We even got a few codenames leaked for the upcoming OnePlus 9 series through Android 11 Beta ROM. Now probably we have got the very first early look of the next year flagship OnePlus 9.
As per the source, they have got the early CAD-based renders showing the OnePlus 9 in full glory. The new OnePlus 9 this time inspires a lot from Galaxy Note20 like a camera module on the back with a dual large sensor and smaller third sensor with LED flash. There is OnePlus logo on the back and the power button with volume rockers on the right.
On the front, we still got a similar single-punch hole flat display from the OnePlus 8T which is a bit disappointing. The source also revealed that the OnePlus 9 will sport 6.55 inches FHD+ display with 144Hz refresh rates. Do note that these are not the final renders of the OnePlus 9 as it’s just early CAD renders.
The final device might look slightly different once it goes official. More details will be out in the coming weeks. The new OnePlus 9 will not launch anytime sooner than March 2021.
Further, we even spotted the alleged OnePlus 9 on Geekbench listing today. As per the source, the new OnePlus 9 is listed as LuBan LE2117 which was leaked in the past too. The new OnePlus 9 is running on Android 11 Os out of the box.
Further, the OnePlus 9 is powered by the latest SD875 SoC aka codenamed as Lahaina. It is coupled with 8GB RAM and secured 1122 points for the single-core test and 2733 points under the multi-core test.
OnePlus 9 Series Leaks:
The new OnePlus 9 series will now have not two but three new devices. Yes, after Samsung now OnePlus too planning to introduce three new flagships under the OnePlus 9 series next. The source also revealed the model numbers which are LE2110 for the OnePlus 9, LE2117, LE2119, LE2120 are for the OnePlus 9 Pro, and lastly LE2127 for an unknown device.
So, is OnePlus planning to launch three new devices under the OnePlus 9 series? We are still not sure about the leaks. The source is still not sure about the third device aka LE2127 will ever launch with the OnePlus 9 series. The source also confirmed that all the devices under the OnePlus 9 series will be powered by SD875 SoC.
The change is in term of the display as it still features punch-hole one but with the hole been moved towards the center. It will arrive with a 144Hz refresh rate AMOLED display and will have NFC, IP68 rating, NFC, dual stereo speakers. The source also revealed that the OnePlus 9 series might have support for 40W wireless charging and 65W wired charging.
