Looks like we have some good news for those waiting for a budget 5G phone from Samsung. Yes, Samsung will finally launch only the 5G variant of the Galaxy A52 & Galaxy A72 later this year. Previously we saw rumours about Samsung might launch the Galaxy A72 & A52 with both 4G and 5G version.
Now we have a new set of leaks coming which confirms that Samsung will ditch the 4G variant for 5G one. Yes, both the new Galaxy A72 & Galaxy A52 will have only 5G variant this year. Further, the tipster also revealed the key specs of the new Galaxy A72 & Galaxy A52.
According to the source, Samsung might launch the new Galaxy A72 & Galaxy A52 are expected to arrive with same chipset this year. Sadly, the source is still not sure which chipset will power the new Galaxy A72 & Galaxy A52 at the moment but we expect it could be the Exynos 981 SoC.

As per the source, Samsung will stick to quad-rear cameras on the new Galaxy A52 next year. Unlike previous leaks Galaxy A72 featuring Penta-lens setup, the Galaxy A52 will retain the four sensors on the back. As per the reports from South Korea, the Galaxy A52 will arrive with Samsung Electro-Mechanics made camera sensors.
The report also states that Samsung Electro-Mechanics has received massive camera order for the Galaxy A52 & A72. Further, the new Galaxy A52 will feature massive 64MP quad sensor this time instead of 48MP on the predecessor. The device comes with a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, dual 5MP depth and macro sensor.
