Realme has now expanded its affordable 5G series segment with the launch of new Q-series in China. Yes, Realme announced not two but three new 5G smartphones in China with Realme Q2i, Realme Q2 & Realme Q2 Pro.
The new Realme Q2 & Realme Q2 Pro will go on sale from Oct 19 whereas the Realme Q2i from November 1 in China. The new Realme Q2 Pro with 8GB+128GB cost 1799 Yuan (Rs.19,550/-), 8GB+256GB at 1999 Yuan (Rs.21,800/-) & Realme Q2 with 4GB+128GB at 1299 Yuan (Rs.14,000/-) and 6GB+128GB at 1399 Yuan (Rs.15,000/-). The Realme Q2i with 4GB+128GB becomes the cheapest 5G phone at 998 Yuan (Rs.10,900/-) in China.
Realme Q2 & Realme Q2 Pro:
The Realme Q2 series with the Silver colored version it has a large Realme logo with a 3D effect and the other color variants feature new matte stitching design similar to Realme X7 series. Realme Q2 measures 9.1 mm thick and weighs about 194g whereas the Realme Q2 Pro at 8.1 mm thick and 175g in weight.
The Realme Q2 sports 6.5 inches FHD+ IPS LCD display with 120Hz refresh rates whereas Realme Q2 Pro with 6.4 inches FHD+ AMOLED display. The Realme Q2 Pro comes powered by latest MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. The Realme Q2 too comes with Dimesnity 800U SoC coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
The Realme Q2 features quad-rear cameras with 48MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture coupled with 8MP ultra-wide sensor with 119° FOV and f/2.3 aperture. Lastly, the device comes with dual 2MP sensors with f/2.4 aperture which acts as Depth and macro sensor. There is a 16MP f/2.1 aperture selfie shooter and comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The new Realme Q2 Pro too features the same set of rear cameras as Realme Q2 but features an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, 5G Dual Mode (SA/NSA) support, Wifi 6, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port and 1216 Linear Speaker, Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio certification. The Realme Q2 comes with 5000 mAh battery with 30W Dart Charging whereas Realme Q2 Pro with 4300 mAh with 65W fast charging support. It runs on Android 10 with Realme UI 1 on top.
Realme Q2i 5G:
Realme also introduced the cheapest 5G phone in the world with Realme Q2i 5G in China. The new Realme Q2i 5G is nothing but Realme V3 5G smartphone with different internals. Yes, the device looks similar to recently launched Realme C series. It measures 8.6 mm thick and weighs about 191g.
The Realme Q2i 5G sports 6.52 inches HD+ IPS LCD display. The Realme V3 5G comes powered by Dimesnity 720 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage with microSD card slot.
Realme Q2i 5G features triple rear cameras with 13MP main sensor with f/2.2 aperture, 2MP f/2.4 aperture depth and 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture & PDAF. The Realme C12 comes with 8MP f/2.0 aperture selfie shooter. It features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, 5G Dual Mode (SA/NSA) support, Dual-band Wifi, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port and 3.5 mm audio jack. The device comes with 5000 MAh battery with 18W fast charging support. It runs on Android 10 with Realme UI 1 on top.
