After various leaks rolling out about the new Galaxy S21 series and even the Note21 series. We even got to know that Galaxy S21 series might become the first S-series device to arrive with S-Pen support. Now new reports are here to disappoint you further for the next year flagship Galaxy S21 & Galaxy Note21 series.
We all were waiting for the first-ever all-display Samsung flagship which was previously rumoured to be the Galaxy S21 series. Now we have some bad news for those waiting first all-display flagship aka Galaxy S21 series. Yes, as per the reports, Samsung might have already ditched the plans of including the Under display camera on the Galaxy S21 & Galaxy Note 21 series next year.
But there might be some good news too as the upcoming foldable device Galaxy Z Fold3 might arrive with full-display aka under-display camera after all. The report reveals that Samsung UDC required two-step HIAA (hole-in-active-area) process. The first step aka HIAA1 which required making a hole on the screen using laser cutting tech. The HIAA1 tech has been implemented right from the Galaxy S10 series.
To achieve the proper UDC feature on the OELD panel Samsung has to even pass on HIAA2 process to pierces numerous miniature holes in the layer over the tiny front camera sensor so that the light could pass in. Here where Samsung has failed to achieve on the Galaxy S21 series as it got very low yields. This is the reason behind ditching the UDC feature on the Galaxy S21 or the Note21 series.
Further, Galaxy Z Fold3 will be launched with limited quantities that make this feature first on the device. Even report claims that the UDC selfie camera will not give the best camera results.
