HTC is probably back in the smartphone industry after a long break. Currently, HTC is launching only mid-range & budget smartphones. Soon we might see the brand jumping into the premium segment with its first-ever foldable phone.
As per the source, HTC has now filed a patent for its first foldable phone with WIPO. Yes, the patent was filed in the month of August 2020 and was published on WIPO website today. The new HTC foldable phone complete design details have been leaked through the patent filing.
The first HTC foldable phone will take inspiration from Galaxy Z Flip or the Moto Razr 5G but with a twist. Yes, the HTC foldable phone might look similar to them but will fold outwards and not inwards.
This makes the device completely unique as the rear of the device will not have display after all instead will come with a glass back. In real-life usage, this design might not last long as the display will be folded outwards.
