Galaxy A71 5G

Previously we saw reports revealing about the next mid-range flagship under A-series with Galaxy A52. We even got to know the camera details of the Galaxy A52 which will still arrive with 64MP quad-rear cameras with 5G support. Now we have new reports from South Korea of Samsung plans to launch its very first Penta-lens camera phone with Galaxy A72.

Samsung Galaxy A72

As per the report, Samsung was one of the first brands to introduce the quad-camera setup with Galaxy A9 2018 in the world. Now the same is set to follow with Galaxy A72 aka the first Penta-camera phone from Samsung. The new Galaxy A72 will arrive with 64MP main sensor with 12MP ultra-wide sensor, 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.

The last two sensors are of 5MP macro and depth sensor with LED flash. So probably the Galaxy A72 will use the same 8MP 3x optical zoom sensor from Galaxy S20 FE. This might make a very unique camera setup and would like to see how well will it perform in real life. The Galaxy A72 might even come with OIS support which is the first A-series phone to feature one. The device will feature a single 32MP selfie shooter.

Lastly, the report also confirms that the Galaxy A52 will retain the quad-cameras.
