Samsung is about to launch the new Galaxy S20 FE aka the budget flagship soon. Previously we had got tons of press images showing the first look of the new Galaxy S20 FE. Now Samsung has officially unveiled the budget flagship aka Galaxy S20 FE today.
The new Galaxy S20 FE will look similar to Galaxy Note20 in terms of design and still sport flat FHD+ Infinity-O display. The Galaxy S20 FE will arrive in Cloud Red, Cloud Navy, Cloud Lavender, Cloud Mint, Cloud Orange and Cloud White colours. It measures 74.5 x 159.8 x 8.4 mm and weighs 190g. The device comes with premium metal and glass back which comes in a range of colours.
The new Galaxy S20 FE will sport 6.5 inches FHD+ Super AMOLED flat display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080p with 120Hz refresh rates. It will come with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top for protection.
The Galaxy S20 FE will arrive in both 4G and 5G version in Europe but we might see on the 4G version in India. Anyway, the new Galaxy S20 FE 4G version comes with Exynos 990 SoC whereas the 5G version with SD865 SoC. It is coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage.
The new Galaxy S20 FE features triple rear cameras with 12MP main sensor with f/1.8 along with 12MP 123-degrees FOV Ultra-wide sensor with f/2.0 aperture and 8MP telephoto lens with f/2.0 aperture and 3x optical zoom with OIS support. The device will also have support for 8K video recording. Galaxy S20 FE features 32MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
The connectivity options include Dual SIM with 4G LTE. VoLTE, 5G, Wifi-6, A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0 & under-display fingerprint scanner. The new Galaxy S20 FE packs 4500 mAh battery with 25W fast charging along with Wireless Powershare support. It runs on Android 10 with One UI 2.5 on top and comes with an IP68 rating making it dust and water-resistant.
The new Galaxy S20 FE 5G will go on pre-orders from today and will be available for purchase from Oct 2. The new Galaxy S20 FE 5G cost $699 (Rs.51,500/-) for the base variant in the US.
