Qualcomm yet again announces its latest mid-range processor after the SD690 5G and SD765G with the new SD750G SoC. Yes, the Qualcomm introduces another cheaper 5G chipset for mid-range gaming segment which will be powering most of the upcoming 5G smartphones later this year.
The new Qualcomm SD750G SoC is the first-ever chipset to support the new mmWave 5G modem. It also features the AI-powered noise suppression and also gets 120fps gaming support. The new SD750G SoC again features the same Snapdragon X52 modem found on the SD765G SoC. The new X52 modem comes with additional mmWave 5G support which the X51 aka SD690 SoC miss.
The new SD750G SoC comes with download speeds of 3.7 Gbps and uploads at 2.5 Gbps. The SD750G performs 20% faster than SD730G and comes with Fluence AI noise suppression system that removes the unwanted background noise like a baby crying or a dog barking.
The SD750G SoC comes with 2.2 GHz clockes octa-core Kyro 570 SoC along with Adreno 619 GPU with support for 120Hz refresh rates for FHD+ display. It also comes with Game Color Plus and Adreno HDR Fast Blend for better rendering of HDR10 graphics. The first smartphone powered by SD750 SoC will be from Xiaomi which will launch by end of this year.
New leaks reveal that it’s not Xiaomi but Samsung to be the world’s first brand to ship the new SD750G. So any guesses which is that device? it’s none other than recently announced Galaxy A42 5G. Yes, Samsung revealed the Galaxy A42 5G earlier last month but kept mum on the processor powering the device. Many of the sources revealed it was powered by SD690 SoC.
But the new leak confirms that the Galaxy A42 5G is using the latest SD750G SoC.
