Motorola finally announced the new Motorola RAZR 5G aka the successor to original Motorola RAZR later today. The new Motorola RAZR 5G is the second iteration of the foldable lineup with no major improvements.
The new Motorola RAZR 5G looks similar to the last year Motorola RAZR with no major design changes. It comes with a classic clamshell design which we even saw in the early 2000’s Moto Razr. Now the Motorola RAZR 5G comes with 6.2 inches Plastic OLED display with a resolution of 2142 x 876 pixels and 21:9 aspect ratio. Now the RAZR display slides back into the frame to avoid damage when you fold the device.
Now the Motorola RAZR 5G packs slightly larger 2.7 inches (800 x 600 pixels) Glass OLED outer display which is perfect to shoot a selfie. Still, the device will feature a physical fingerprint scanner placed just below the display.
The new Motorola RAZR 5G is powered by SD765G SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The new Motorola RAZR 5G features 48MP outer camera with an aperture of f/1.7 and 20MP selfie shooter with f/2.2 aperture. One can use the outer display to click the selfie which was missing on the predecessor.
The new Motorola RAZR 5G measures 7.9 mm thick when unfolded and 16mm when folded and weighs 190g. The device comes with Single SIM support with 5G, 4G LTE, VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, WLAN, NFC, A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port and IPX8 certification. The Motorola RAZR 5G packs lower 2800 mAh battery with 15W fast charger. It arrives in three colours with Brush Gold, Polished Graphite, and Liquid Mercury and runs on Android 10 OS. All this will set you back with a whopping $1399 (Rs.1,02,600/-).
