Looks like Jio is back into the game in the Broadband segment in India. With almost two year of launch, Jio Fibre didn’t make any big impact due to higher pricing and not so affordable plans. Now Jio has just entered back with more aggressive plans for its so-called Jio Fibre.
Yes, Reliance Jio has just launched some interesting offers for new users with 30 days of the free trial. Not just that, Jio has also offering unlimited data without any data cap as of now and no word about how long will this be available. As per the plan goes it starts from as low as Rs.399/- per month which comes with 30Mbps speed of unlimited data and next plan worth of Rs.699/- per month that offers 50Mbps unlimited data. Sadly, both the plans will not come with any free OTT services.
The next plan comes at Rs.999/- which offers 150 Mbps speeds of unlimited data along with 11 OTT apps and lastly the top-end Rs.1499/- plan which provides 300Mbps of unlimited data with 120 OTT services for free of cost. Do note that all the plans do come with unlimited voice calls. Further, old users can also change to new plans and will be charged as per selected plan.
The 12 OTT apps include Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar, JioCinema, Zee5, Sony Liv, Voot, Alt Balaji, Sun NXT, Shemaroo, Lionsgate Play, and Hoichoi. The 30 days trial offer comes with 150Mbps plan free voice calls, a 4K set-top box and subscription to 10 OTT apps under the new JioTV Plus platform at no extra cost. Further, one has the option to opt for 4K set-top box by paying Rs.2500/- if not then can just pay Rs.1500/-. The deposit amount is refundable after surrendering the connection.
