After the success of iQOO 3 series, we now have the next set of flagship replacing it with the new iQOO 5 & iQOO 5 Pro. Yes, this time the company announces both the iQOO 5 & iQOO 5 Pro together in a single event in China. The new iQOO 5 & iQOO 5 Pro comes in Blue and Grey colours.
The iQOO 5 Pro also got new BMW M Motorsport’s global partnership so it has a legendary version that incorporates three stripes in white leather finish, and the track version has carbon fibre finish under the glass.
Design & features:
The new iQOO 5 & iQOO 5 Pro comes with a premium glass back with glossy texture to provide better grip. It features Corning Gorilla Glass 6 on the back for protection. The device also comes with Monster Touch Buttons uses two pressure-sensitive buttons which helps one to quick multi-finger operations in the game. It also features 4D Vibration support for the true gaming experience.
The new iQOO 5 series comes with Carbon Fiber VC Liquid Cooling tech that reduces the surface temperature by 3.5°C and CPU temperature by up to 12°C. The new iQOO 3 and iQOO 3 5G weighs about 214.5 grams and measures 9.16 mm thick.
Display & Processor:
The new iQOO 5 and iQOO 5 Pro sports 6.56 inches FHD+ 20:3 aspect ratio 3D curved Super AMOLED with Schott Xensation UP glass protection and HDR10+ support. The iQOO 5 and iQOO 5 Pro are powered by the same SD865 SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage options.

The new iQOO 5 features quad-rear cameras with 50MP Samsung GN1 sensor having an aperture of f/1.85 with EIS, 13MP telephoto lens with an aperture of f/2.2, 20X digital zoom, 13MP 120-degrees Ultra-Wide angle lens with an aperture of f/2.2 and 13MP portrait sensor with an aperture of f/2.4, 2X zoom with LED flash.
The new iQOO 5 Pro feature same primary and secondary sensor as the iQOO 5 but with 8MP periscopic sensor with f/3.4 aperture and 5X optical Zoom & 60X digital zoom with OIS support. The iQOO 5 and iQOO 5 Pro uses a 16MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.46. Both the iQOO 5 and iQOO 5 Pro features in-display fingerprint scanner with AK4377A Hi-Fi chip, & Hi-Res audio certification along with stereo speakers.
Connectivity:
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and 5G, A-GPS, GLONASS, Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C port. The new iQOO 5 packs 4000 mAh battery with 55W Super Flash Charge support whereas the iQOO 5 Pro packs 4500 mAh battery with whopping 120W ultra-fast flash charging. Both the devices run on Android 10 with iQOO UI 1.5 on top.
Pricing:
The new iQOO 5 Pro with 8GB+256GB cost 4998 Yuan (Rs.53,900/-) and 12GB+256GB at 5498 Yuan (Rs.59,400/-) in China. The iQOO 5 with 8GB+128GB cost 3998 Yuan (Rs.43,200/-), 4298 Yuan (Rs.46,400/-) for 8GB+256GB & 12GB+256GB at 4598 Yuan (Rs.49,600/-) in China. Both the devices will go on sale from Aug 24 in China. The new iQOO 5 series is all set to land in India next.
