Previously we saw Google officially revealing that they will launch two devices this fall. The company also revealed the name with Pixel 5 & Pixel 4a 5G which would start at a price tag of $499 in the US. Now we probably have bad news for those waiting for the compact size mid-range flagship aka Pixel 5.
As per the new reports, Google will ditch the original Pixel 5 compact size display this year after the failure of Pixel 4 & 4 XL. The report further, states that Google will launch only the XL version of Pixel 5 this year which will come with a larger display. Technically speaking the Pixel 5 XL will be named as simply Pixel 5 this year.
The source also revealed that the Pixel 5 will sport whopping 6.67 inches FHD+ AMOLED display. Lastly, the source also dropped the pricing info of the new Google Pixel 5. As per the source, the Pixel 5 will ship with SD765G SoC and comes with a price tag of $699 in the US.
