Huawei Mate X2 5G the next foldable flagship from the company is all set to launch alongside with Mate 40 series. Previously we saw the popular industry insider revealing some of the display details of the new Huawei Mate X2 5G. Now the same source has just shared the detailed specs with alleged renders of Huawei Mate X2 5G.
As per the source, the new Huawei Mate X2 5G will look similar to Huawei Mate X but will have inward folding mechanism instead of outward. The device will indeed come with same 8.03 inches 120Hz HDR10+ internal display.
There will be 4.5 inches external display without any hole or notch as the camera sensors along with display for notifications are located on the right. Do note that the side display also features an in-display fingerprint scanner. Huawei will also introduce the Laptop mode on the Huawei Mate X2 5G which works at a 120-degree angle like a traditional laptop. It will also get the Huawei S-Pen stylus support.
The new Huawei Mate X2 5G will again use the upcoming Kirin 1000 SoC which might be the last custom made chipset from the company. It will be coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage but will also have 12GB/256GB & 16GB/512GB variants.
The new Huawei Mate X2 5G features quad rear cameras with 40MP main shooter, 40MP ultra-wide sensor, 12MP telephoto lens with 3X zoom and 5MP depth sensor with LED flash. There is either 32MP or 16MP selfie shooter on the internal display. Lastly, the device will pack a larger 6000 mAh battery with 65W fast charge support. It will run on Android 11 with EMUI 11 on top.
