Previously we saw numerous leaks revealing Xiaomi plans to bring the most successful premium lineup aka Mi MIX series. We even saw the all-new roll around display phone with Xiaomi MI Mix Alpha which was about to go on sale soon.
Now Xiaomi has some sort of bad news for those waiting for the new Mi Mix series smartphone as it will not arrive anytime soon. Yes, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun confirmed through a blog post that they have held the new Xiaomi Mi Mix series for now and not sure when exactly the device will be launched. But Xiaomi might bring back the new MI Mix lineup later in the future whose time frame is still unknown.
Further, another bad news is that Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha will not enter mass production as it is very difficult to manufacture. Lastly, Xiaomi also revealed the fate of the so-called Surge SoC which made its debut long back. Xiaomi has officially revealed that currently they have kept the development of Surge SoC under hold and might make comeback.
