After the success of the first foldable device the Huawei Mate X we saw the company launching successor with better internals with Huawei Mate Xs. Now finally we have got a major upgrade with the new Huawei Mate X2 coming later this year. Yet, again we might never see the Huawei Mate X2 landing Indian shores but here we got a new tip that reveals some details.
As per the popular insider, the new Huawei Mate X2 will no longer feature out folding mechanism this time. Yes, the new Huawei Mate X2 will have an in-folding mechanism similar to what we saw with Galaxy Fold lineup. This comes to a surprise who were waiting for more better version of foldable from Huawei.
Anyway, the source also reveals that this time the new Huawei Mate X2 will use Samsung made OLED displays and will not have UTG which Galaxy Z Fold 2 features. Apart from that, the source also mentioned that Huawei Mate X2 will feature the same 8.03 inches internal display as the predecessor. Hence no change in terms of display size.
