After tons of leaks, we finally have the budget smartphone from Google with Pixel 4a official. The new Pixel 4a will arrive in single Just Black colour. The new Pixel 4a will go on sale from in the Aug 20 in the US. Google Pixel 4a will land in India sometime in Oct and will be exclusive to Flipkart.
The Pixel 4a with the 6GB+128GB cost just $349 (Rs.26,100/-) in the US. Google is bundling three month free trials of YouTube Premium, Google Play Pass and Google One.
Lastly, Google also confirmed two more devices the Pixel 4a (5G), starting at $499, and Pixel 5 which will be arriving later this fall. The Pixel 4a (5G) and Pixel 5 will be available in the U.S., Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, Japan, Taiwan and Australia
The Pixel 4a looks exactly similar to previously leaked renders with punch-hole display and thicker bezels. On the back, the Pixel 4a comes with a single rear camera with LED flash that is inspired from Pixel 4 series. The Pixel 4a will sport 5.81 inches FHD+ flexible OLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It gets Always-On display support along with HDR and Now playing.
The Pixel 4a is indeed powered by SD730G SoC coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It weighs around 143g and measures 8.2 mm thick. Yet again the Pixel 4a comes with a polycarbonate body that makes the device feel lighter. The Pixel 4a got 12.2MP 77-degrees FOV single rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, PDAF, OIS and LED flash.
The Pixel 4a comes with 8MP with 84-degrees FOV selfie shooter having an aperture of f/2.0. The Pixel 4a gets video recording support up to 4K at 30fps. The rear camera comes with HDR+, Night Sight, and Portrait Mode. It also comes with new Social share for quickly going from the viewfinder to sharing in a third-party app. The device also comes with a dedicated Titan M Security module which the Pixel 4 series has.
The Pixel 4a comes with connectivity options like Dual Band Wifi, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, Single SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support along with USB Type-C port. All this is packed by 3140 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support and runs on Android 10 OS out of the box. The device also gets Dual front-firing speakers.
