Asus has finally unveiled the next flagship gaming phone under the ROG series with ASUS ROG Phone 3. The new ASUS ROG Phone 3 will arrive in a single Black colour and will go on sale from Aug 6. It will be Flipkart Exclusive in India.
The new ASUS ROG Phone 3 with 8GB+128GB cost Rs.49,999 , 12GB+256GB at 57,999/- and 16GB+512GB 1099 Euro (Rs.95,100/-) in India. The launch offers includes No cost EMI, and 3 months of free Stadia Pro. The ASUS ROG Phone 3 gets new Aeroactive cooler that cools the device during heavy gaming which uses the secondary USB Type-C port on the side to connect.
The new ASUS ROG Phone 3 looks similar to the predecessor with a slight change in camera placement. ASUS ROG Phone 3 will look similar to the predecessor with the standard 18:9 aspect ratio display on the front with slimmer bezels. On the left, there is a USB Type-C port for attaching the various kind of accessories. On the right, we have got the power button with volume rockers.
The new ASUS ROG Phone 3 will sport 6.59 inches 144Hz refresh rates AMOLED FHD+ display. The device features HDR10+ support and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 on top. It measures 9.85 mm thick which is probably due to the larger battery size. It weighs 240g.
The new ASUS ROG Phone 3 comes with SD865+ SoC coupled with 12GB/16GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage. The ASUS ROG Phone 3 will ship with triple rear cameras with LED flash aligned horizontally. This time the ASUS ROG Phone 3 features 64MP Sony IMX686 main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 13MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.4 aperture and 5MP macro sensor with LED flash. The new ASUS ROG Phone 3 features 24MP selfie shooter. It comes with 4K slo-mo and 8K video recording.
The new ASUS ROG Phone 3 comes with dual stereo speakers with dual NXP TFA9874 smart amplifiers DIRAC audio technology & Cross Talk cancellation tech. The device gets X mode to boost the performance further for heavy gaming. It also features dedicated Gaming profile customisation built into the ROG UI. It comes with side-mounted Air triggers 3 with Touch support for the perfect gaming experience.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE, VoLTE and 5G support, A-GPS, GLONASS, Dual Frequency GPS, NFC, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio port, Wifi-6, Bluetooth 5.1 and in-display fingerprint scanner. The new ASUS ROG Phone 3 will pack 6000 mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. It will also have support for 5G networks and runs on Android 10 out of the box.
ASUS also unveiled the 15.6 inches ROG Strix XG16 external monitor to play games on the bigger screen. Yes, the new ROG Strix XG16 comes with a kickstand and connects with ASUS ROG Phone 3 via USB Type-C port. The ROG Strix XG16 sports 15.6 inches FHD+ 144Hz refresh rate display and comes with an additional 7800 mAh battery with micro HDMI port.
