Looks like previous rumours about Samsung delaying the launch of the next foldable phone aka Galaxy Z Fold 2 turns out to be fake. Yes, we had few tipsters confirming that Galaxy Z Fold 2 will not launch alongside with Galaxy Note20 series on Aug 5. Further, few reports suggested that the Galaxy Z Fold 2 will indeed launch on Aug 5 event.

Now we have got the official confirmation for the launch of the new Galaxy Z Fold 2. Yes, Samsung has officially shared out the new teaser showing the new foldable smartphone is on the way. As per the video, we can see the similar kind of teaser which we saw with Note20 series having the Bronze Gold colour droplet turning into a foldable smartphone.
The video ends with launch date which is indeed the Aug 5 that confirms the Galaxy Z Fold 2 will be official. Anyway, the video gets tagline “A new look unfolds” this further confirms that the teaser is not for the Galaxy Z Flip 5G but for the new Galaxy Z Fold 2. So looks like the Aug 5 event will turn out to be the big day for Samsung indeed.
