Google has previously revealed various details of the budget Pixel with Pixel 4a. We got the official renders along with detailed specs and even the pricing details of the Pixel 4a. Not just that we even got the first look of the upcoming Pixel 5. Now we have new leaks that reveal some surprising details of the Pixel 4a & Pixel 5.
As per the source, they managed to dig into the new beta version of the Google Search app which revealed three new codenames of the 2020 device launch. Yes, the three devices include Pixel 4a, the Pixel 5 and surprisingly Pixel 4a 5G. So where is the Pixel 5 XL? Is the Pixel 4a 5G the Pixel 5? we are still clueless about the leaks.
Anyway, we can confirm that there will be no Pixel 5 XL this year. The three codenames fishing for redfin, sunfish and bramble. So this indirectly confirms that there will be no high-end flagship from Google this year and will launch only mid-range devices for 2020 with Pixel 4a, Pixel 4a 5G & Pixel 5. Further, the 5G variant might ship with the SD765G SoC instead of the SD865 SoC this year.
The source also claims that both the Pixel 4a 5G & Pixel 5 will have the same chipset but will have slight design changes like the plastic build on the 4a & metal plus glass back on the 5. Further, we have got new leaks revealing that Google has further delayed the Pixel 4a launch.
As per the popular tipster, Google was about to announce the new Pixel 4a on July 13. But the tipster has now confirmed that it has been delayed yet again. Yes, now the new Pixel 4a will arrive on Aug 3 as per the source. This might be the third time we are getting the news of Pixel 4a to launch has been delayed.
