Looks like the previous rumours about the budget mid-range smartphone with POCO M2 Pro. We even got leaks suggesting that the POCO M2 Pro will be rebranded version of the Redmi Note 9 Pro Global variant. Now the POCO India has officially confirmed the new POCO M2 Pro will soon land in India.
As per the teaser, the POCO M2 Pro will go official in India on July 7 at 12:00 PM IST. The POCO M2 Pro will again be exclusive to Flipkart in India. Apart from that, we can see the teaser showing the back of the device with a design similar to Redmi Note 9 Pro series. The POCO M2 Pro will arrive with quad-rear cameras with LED flash.
Further, the second teaser video shows that POCO M2 Pro will come with side-mounted fingerprint scanner located on the right. Not just that POCO M2 Pro will also support fast charging probably with 30W output. Anyway, more details about the POCO M2 Pro will be revealed later today on Flipkart.
Further, we had also spotted the alleged POCO M2 Pro on Geekbench listing. As per the source, the new POCO M2 Pro will be powered by unknown Qualcomm processor coupled with 6GB RAM and runs on Android 10 OS. Sadly, we still not sure which Qualcomm processor will the new POCO M2 Pro use. But we expect it could be the SD720G the same one powering Redmi Note 9 Pro series.
The POCO M2 Pro managed to secure 554 under single and 1757 under multi-core test which isn’t that impressive. Anyway, more details will be revealed by end of the day.
