Sony PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition

Sony has finally unveiled the new PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition for the Global markets. The new PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition looks identical in terms of design and comes with a vertical stand. Sadly, Sony has still not revealed the exact pricing and launch date of the new PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition.

Both the new PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition will no longer come with an optical drive which was part of the PS series in the past. We can see both the devices come with white vertical stand covered on both sides with black interior. There is USB Type-C and USB Type-A port on the front with LED lights and vent to cool the device.

This is the first time Sony has removed the 4K UHD BlueRay optical drive on the new PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition. The PlayStation 5 is thicker design whereas the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition is thinner. It comes with popular DualSense controller which is similar to what we saw in the past. The only change is that it comes with white and black design when compared with all black in the past. It also comes with a microphone with Dual haptic feedback.

Sony has also unveiled a huge list of accessories Charging Station for charging two DualSense controllers simultaneously, HD Camera for possible motion tracking, Pulse 3D Wireless Headset and Media Remote to control console as a Blu-ray player and streaming box.

Sony also unveiled a big list of games that includes Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Horizon Forbidden West, Gran Turismo 7, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Resident Evil Village, NBA 2K21, Deathloop, Hitman III, and more.
