With Redmi 8 series taking the best selling budget smartphone from the company last year, we now have a successor on the way with Redmi 9 series. Yes, the tipster has just leaked out the detailed specs with pricing info for the upcoming Redmi 9 series. As per the source, this time the Redmi 9 series will include three models with Redmi 9, Redmi 9A & Redmi 9C with NFC and without NFC.
The new Redmi 9A & Redmi 9C will sport 6.53 inches HD+ IPS LCD display. The Redmi 9A & Redmi 9C might sport waterdrop notch whereas the Redmi 9 might arrive with punch-hole FHD+ IPS LCD display as it has got slightly higher resolution with 2400*1080p. The new Redmi 9A & Redmi 9C (with NFC & without NFC) will be using the MediaTek Helio G25 SoC & MediaTekHelio G35 SoC coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage options.

The Redmi 9 is powered by MediaTek Helio G70 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The Redmi 9A comes with a single camera with 13MP on the back and 5MP selfie shooter. The Redmi 9C without NFC with a dual rear camera with 13MP+2MP whereas Redmi 9C with NFC features triple cameras with 13MP+5MP+2MP. Redmi 9 with a quad-rear camera with 13MP+8MP+5MP+2MP with LED flash. All the devices ship with a 5MP selfie shooter.
All three devices will ship with a 5000 mAh battery and support the microSD card slot. The new Redmi 9, Redmi 9A & Redmi 9C will also have a 3.5mm audio port along with USB Type-C port, fingerprint scanner, and IR blaster. All the devices run on Android 10 with MIUI 12 on top.
Lastly, the tipster also revealed that Redmi 9A would be priced between €100 (Rs.8400/-) – €120 (Rs.10,100/-) whereas Redmi 9C at €130 (Rs.10,999/-) – €150 (Rs.12,600/-) & Redmi 9 at €160 (Rs.13,500/-) – €180 (Rs.15,100/-) in Europe.
