Huawei is still not done with its smartphone launches after announcing the Nova 7 series. Huawei is planning to introduce some new Y-series smartphones under the budget segment with Huawei Y6P & Huawei Y5P. Finally, Huawei has unveiled the new budget smartphones with Huawei Y6P & Huawei Y5P in Romania. The Huawei Y5p comes in black, blue and mint colours whereas Huawei Y6p is available in black, green and purple colours.
As per the source, Huawei upcoming budget smartphone includes two new devices with Huawei Y6P & Huawei Y5P. Both the new Huawei Y6P & Huawei Y5P will come with some identical specs but has a slightly different design. The new Huawei Y6P & Huawei Y5P features triple and dual rear cameras. Both the devices do feature polycarbonate back and measure 9.04 mm and 8.35 mm thick. The Huawei Y6P & Huawei Y5P weighs 185g and 144g respectively.
The Huawei Y6P sports 6.3 inches FHD+ IPS LCD waterdrop display with thicker bezels whereas the Huawei Y5P with 5.45 inches IPS LCD HD display with standard resolution 16:9 and thicker bezels. The Huawei Y6P & Huawei Y5P are powered by same MediaTek Helio P22 SoC coupled with 2GB/3GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage options. It does feature a microSD card slot.
The new Huawei Y6P features triple rear cameras with 13MP main sensor, 5MP Ultra-wide and 2MP depth sensor with LED flash. Whereas the Huawei Y5P with dual-rear cameras with 8MP main sensor and 2MP depth sensor with LED flash. The new Huawei Y6P features 8Mp selfie shooter whereas the Huawei Y5P with 5MP selfie shooter.
The new Huawei Y6P packs 5000 mAh battery whereas the Huawei Y5P with 3020 mAh battery with 10W charging support. Sadly, the new Huawei Y6P & Huawei Y5P still use the micro USB port. The Huawei Y6P do feature rear-mounted fingerprint scanner which the Huawei Y5P miss. Huawei Y6P & Huawei Y5P run on Android 10.
The new Huawei Y5p cost 599 RON (Rs.10,200/-) whereas the Huawei Y6p at RON 799 (Rs.13,600/-). Both the devices will go on pre-orders from today. Sadly, both devices will not have Google services.
Huawei MatePad T8:
Huawei also introduced the budget tablet in Romania with the new Huawei MatePad T8. The new Huawei MatePad T8 comes with 8 inches IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1280 x 800p. The new Huawei MatePad T8 is powered by MediaTek MTK8768 coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB/32GB internal storage.
The Huawei MatePad T8 features 5MP rear camera and 2MP selfie shooter. All this is packed by 5000 mAh battery with 10W charging support. The device comes with a micro USB port along with a 3.5 mm audio jack. It is Wifi only tab and will be available in a single colour with Blue. The new Huawei MatePad T8 will cost €100 (Rs.8,300/-) and will go on sale later this month. The device runs on Android 10 with EMUI 10.1 on top without support for GMS.
