Honor announced three new budget smartphones under Honor 9 series with Honor 9A, Honor 9C and Honor 9S. All the three devices are currently exclusive to Russia and might soon land in India. The new Honor 9A, Honor 9C and Honor 9S will arrive in Red, Blue, Black and Green colours respectively.
The new Honor 9A with 3GB+32GB cost RUB 10,990 (Rs.11300/-), Honor 9C with 4GB+64GB at RUB 12,990 (Rs.13,400/-) and Honor 9S at RUB 6990 (Rs.7,200/-) in Russia.
The new Honor 9A, Honor 9C and Honor 9S looks identical in terms of design but come with different camera modules. The new Honor 9A, Honor 9C features triple rear cameras whereas the Honor 9S with a single rear camera. The new Honor 9A, Honor 9C and Honor 9S measures 9.04 mm, 8.13 mm and 8.4 mm thick and weighs 185g, 176g, and 144g respectively.
The new Honor 9A sports 6.3 inches waterdrop HD+ display, Honor 9C with 6.39 inches punch-hole HD+ display and Honor 9S with 5.45 inches 16:9 aspect ratio HD+ display. The new Honor 9A and Honor 9S are powered by Mediatek MT6762R SoC coupled with 3GB/2GB RAM and 64GB/32GB storage whereas the Honor 9C with Kirin 710A SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space.
All the three devices do come with microSD card slot for further storage expansion. The new Honor 9A features triple rear cameras with 13MP main with an aperture of f/1.8, 5MP ultra-wide sensor with an aperture of f/2.2 and 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The new Honor 9C features triple rear cameras with 48MP main with an aperture of f/1.8, 8MP ultra-wide sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 and 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. Lastly, the Honor 9S with single rear cameras with 8MP aperture of f/2.0.
The new Honor 9S features 5MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0, 8MP on the Honor 9A & Honor 9C with an aperture of f/2.0. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, A-GPS, GLONASS, Wifi, Bluetooth 5.0 and micro USB port with 3.5 mm audio jack. The Honor 9C and Honor 9A come with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and NFC support.
The new Honor 9S packs 3020 mAh battery, Honor 9C with 4000 mAh and Honor 9A with larger 5000 mAh battery. None of them supports for fast charging. All the three devices run on Android 10 with EMUI 10.1/ Magic UI 3.1 on top.
