Yes, this feature will allow more and more photographers and videographers to get the iPhone 12 Pro Max as it will allow stabilizing the external camera lens without need of gimble. This feature will also stabilize the Ultra-wide sensor on the iPhone whereas the telephoto lens gets OIS. Further, the report also claims that the new iPhone 12 Pro Max might come with a telephoto lens with at least 5x optical zoom.
