Nokia 5.3

Previously we got many leaks and rumours about Nokia’s first 5G smartphone the Nokia 8.3 5G. Now Nokia has launched not one but four new devices in London. The new devices include the Nokia 8.3 5G, Nokia 5.3, Nokia 1.3 & Nokia 5310 feature phone.

Nokia 8.3:

Nokia finally launched its true 5G smartphone under the premium mid-range segment with Nokia 8.3 5G. The new Nokia 8.3 5G comes with premium design featuring a glass back with glossy finish and metal edges. The new Nokia 8.3 5G measures 8.99 mm thick and weighs 220g. It will be available in Polar Night colour.

The new Nokia 8.3 5G sports 6.81 FHD+ punch-hole IPS LCD display with 120Hz refresh rates. The new Nokia 8.3 5G is powered by SD765G SoC with 5G support and comes with 6GB/8GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage. It also features a microSD card slot.

The new Nokia 8.3 5G features quad-rear cameras with LED flash arranged in the circular camera module. The new Nokia 8.3 5G features 64MP main sensor with ZEISS Optics lens, 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 2MP depth and 2MP macro sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 and Dual LED flash. It comes with 24MP selfie shooter along with side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The connectivity options include Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, 5G, Dual Band Wifi, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio. The new Nokia 8.3 5G packs 4500 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The Nokia 8.3 5G runs on Android 10 out of the box.

The Nokia 8.3 5G 6GB+64GB cost 599 Euros (Rs.47,900/-) and 8GB+128GB at 649 Euros (Rs.51,900/-). The device will roll out starting from Summer 2020.

Nokia 5.3:

The next device is the new Nokia 5.3 which is the successor to Nokia 5.1 and comes under the mid-range segment. The new Nokia 5.3 looks almost similar to the Nokia 8.3 5G but comes with a tough polymer 3D frame with scratch-resistant coating, features a sculpted back made of advanced composite materials and inner nano texture. It measures 8.5 mm thick and weighs 185g.

The Nokia 5.3 sports 6.55 inches HD+ IPS LCD waterdrop display with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and 2.5D Curved glass on top. The Nokia 5.3 is powered by SD665 SoC coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. It comes with a microSD card slot.

The new Nokia 5.3 features 13MP main sensor with an aperture of f/1.8, 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 2MP depth and 2MP macro sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 and Dual LED flash. It comes with 8MP (f/2.0) selfie shooter along with rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. It comes in Cyan, Sand and Charcoal colours.

The connectivity options include Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio. The new Nokia 5.3 packs 4000 mAh battery with 10W fast charging support. The Nokia 5.3 runs on Android 10 out of the box.

The Nokia 5.3 4GB+64GB cost 189 Euros (Rs.15,100/-). The device will roll out starting from April-end.

Nokia 1.3:

Nokia also launched the budget smartphone under the Android Go series with the new Nokia 1.3. The new Nokia 1.3 comes with a polycarbonate back and looks similar to Nokia 2.3 which was launched a few months back. The new Nokia 1.3 comes in Cyan, Charcoal and Sand colours. It measures 9.35 mm thick and weighs 155g.

Nokia 1.3 sports 5.7 inches HD+ waterdrop display with an aspect ratio 19:9. The Nokia 1.3 is powered by SD215 SoC coupled with 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. It comes with a microSD card slot.

The Nokia 1.3 features 8MP single rear camera with LED flash and comes with 5MP selfie shooter. The connectivity options include Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, A-GPS, GLONASS, micro USB port, Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio. The new Nokia 1.3 packs 3000 mAh battery with 5W charging support. The Nokia 1.3 runs on Android 10 (Go Edition) out of the box.

The Nokia 1.3 cost 95 Euros (Rs.7500/-). The device will roll out starting from April.

Nokia 5310:

Nokia also launched the latest feature phone for music lovers with Nokia 5310. The new Nokia 5310 looks similar to previous Nokia 5310 Express Music series which was launched sometime in 2007. The new Nokia 5310 measures 13.1 mm thick and weighs 88.2g. It will be available in White with Red and Black with Red colours.

Nokia 5310 sports 2.4 inches QVGA display with T9 keypad. It is powered by MT6260A processor coupled with 8MB RAM and 16MB internal storage. The device also gets a MicroSD card slot. The Nokia 5310 features VGA rear camera with LED flash. It also comes with dual front-firing speakers.

The connectivity options include Dual SIM with 2G support, Wifi, micro USB port, Bluetooth 3.9, 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio. The new Nokia 5310 packs 1200 mAh battery and runs on Series 30+ OS.

The Nokia 5310 cost 39 Euros (Rs.3100/-). The device will roll out starting from the end of March.
