Previously we saw Samsung and Huawei launch their very first foldable smartphone with Galaxy Fold and Huawei Mate X last year. Now we finally have the first look at the successor of the new Huawei Mate X with Huawei Mate X2. As per the source, new patent filing with EUIPO reveals the design of the new Huawei Mate X2.
As per the listing, the new Huawei Mate X2 will look almost similar to Huawei Mate X but will now fold inward instead of outwards. Further, the device will fold inward horizontally from the middle of the tablet size display. When folded the device comes with vertical side-bar featuring secondary display along with quad rear cameras.
There are dual selfie cameras this time on the new Huawei Mate X2. Further, the vertical side-bar might also be home for Stylus this time on the new Huawei Mate X2. Further, the new Huawei Mate X2 will come with the slightly curved display than the predecessor. Sadly, the listing, doesn’t reveal any specs about the new Huawei Mate X2.
