Previously we had got few 3D CAD renders of the alleged Sony Xperia 5 Plus which was rumoured to be the next flagship from the company. Later we saw Sony sending Press Invites for the upcoming launch event which is held on Feb 24. Now we have new reports revealing some of the details for the upcoming flagship from Sony.
As per the reports, Sony is again planning to introduce two flagships this year similar to last year as one of them will be unveiled on Feb 24 at MWC. Further, the upcoming flagship will sport the all-new 6.6 inches 4K HDR OLED display with an aspect ratio of 21:9. So we got an almost similar type of display as the Xperia 1.
As expected the new Sony flagship will come with SD865 SoC along with Dual 5G mode support. The upcoming Sony flagship might become the World’s first 5G smartphone with 4K display. Sadly, we are still not sure about the exact name of the Sony upcoming flagship. Further, the reports reveal that the device will have support for a wider aperture of f/1.7 with 8K video recording support. Lastly, the new Sony flagship might cost around $849 (Rs.60,700/-).
