Previously we got alleged 3D CAD renders showing the first punch-hole display smartphone with Google Pixel 4a. We even got the key specs of the new Google Pixel 4a leaked which revealed the device might use Qualcomm chipset. Now we have spotted the alleged Google Pixel 4a on Geekbench.
As per the listing, the new Google Pixel 4a is now powered by Samsung’s Exynos 8995 SoC and not the Qualcomm processor. Looks like Google trying to launch its very first device with Exynos chipset this year. Anyway, the Exynos 8995 comes with the same processor one powering the 2018 flagship Galaxy S8 series. Looks like an outdated chipset anyway, the new Google Pixel 4a comes with 4GB RAM.
The Google Pixel 4a runs on Android 10 out of the box and scores 1625 under multi-core test. We hope the new Google Pixel 4a listing might turn out to be fake as we don’t want the outdated chipset powering the 2020 mid-range smartphone.
