Previously Xiaomi has made the Redmi brand-independent last year during the Redmi K20 series launch. Now Xiaomi sub-brand Poco is the next brand to become completely independent after Redmi.
With the successor of immensely popular smartphone Poco F1 which made India’s best selling flagship smartphone last two years. Now the Xiaomi has decided to make the POCO has an individual brand. The news was announced none other than Xiaomi India CEO Manu Jain who said the POCO brand will operate independently starting from today.
So this makes us think that POCO might launch a bunch of new devices in India in the coming months. Hence we can see huge competition between Redmi, Xiaomi and Poco smartphones this year. We can expect the POCO F2 might be the next big device from POCO.
