Alcatel the sister company from TCL has now launched a new range of budget devices at the annual Electronic show CES 2020. Alcatel will be using the same old model numbers with Alcatel 3L, Alcatel 1S, and Alcatel 1V. Anyway, the company is reusing the name but will offer upgraded specs.
Alcatel 3L:
Alcatel has just launched the upgraded version of its budget smartphone with Alcatel 3L. The new Alcatel 3L comes with a plastic body and is the top-end model. The new Alcatel 3L sports 6.22 inches IPD LCD HD+ aka Vast display. It measures 8.48 mm thick and weighs 165 grams.
The new Alcatel 3L is powered by MediaTek MT6762 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage with microSD card slot. The Alcatel 3L features triple rear cameras with 48MP Samsung GM1 Quad Bayer sensor with an aperture of f/1.8, 5MP 115-degree ultrawide (F/2.2) and 2MP (F/2.4) macro sensor with LED flash. It comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The device packs 4000 mAh battery and runs on Android 10 out of the box. The new Alcatel 3L comes in Chameleon Blue, Dark Chrome or Agate Green colours and will be available for $155 (Rs.11,200/-) in Q1 2020. The device will go on sale in the following countries in Europe, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa.
Alcatel 1S:
Alcatel 1S is the next device launched by the company at CES 2020. The new Alcatel 1S looks similar to Alcatel 3L and also features triple rear cameras. The new Alcatel 1S sports 6.22 inches IPS LCD HD+ Vast display. It is again made out of polycarbonate back.
The new Alcatel 1S is powered by MediaTek MT6762D SoC coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage with microSD card slot. The Alcatel 1S comes with triple rear cameras with 13MP main sensor with an aperture of f/1.8, 5MP 115-degree ultrawide (F/2.2) and 2MP (F/2.4) macro sensor with LED flash.
The Alcatel 1S packs 4000 mAh battery and runs on Android 10. It comes with a price tag of $110 (Rs.8000/-) and will go on sale in select markets like Europe, Latin America, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa. The Alcatel 1S will be available in Agate Green and Power Grey.
Alcatel 1V:
Alcatel also launched the successor to last year launched Alcatel 1V with same branding but upgraded specs. The new Alcatel 1V also features the same design as the other two but is slightly thicker. The new Alcatel 1V sports same 6.22 inches IPS LCD HD+ Vast display with thicker bezels.
The new Alcatel 1V is powered by same MediaTek MT6762D SoC coupled with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage with microSD card slot. It comes with dual rear cameras with 13MP main sensor with an aperture of f/1.8 & 5MP 115-degree ultrawide (F/2.2) with LED flash.
The Alcatel 1V packs 4000 mAh battery and runs on Android 10. It comes with a price tag of $88 (Rs.6400/-) and will go on sale in select markets like Latin America, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa in Q1 2020. The Alcatel 1S will be available in Prime Black and Pine Green.
Alcatel 1B:
The last but not the least the new Alcatel 1B is the cheapest of all the devices launched today. The new Alcatel 1B comes with standard 18:9 aspect ratio display with thicker bezels and same polycarbonate shell. it looks completely different from the above three devices. it measures 9.9 mm thick.
Alcatel 1B sports 5.5 inches HD+ display with thicker bezels. The Alcatel 1B is powered by QM215 SoC coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage with microSD card slot. it comes with a single rear camera with 13MP with LED flash.
The new Alcatel 1B packs 3000 mAh battery and runs on a lighter version of Android with Android 10 Go Edition out of the box. The new Alcatel 1B comes with a price tag of $66 (Rs.4800/-) and will go on sale in select markets like Europe, Latin America, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa in Q1 2020. The Alcatel 1B will be available in Prime Black and Pine Green.
