Previously we saw tons of leaks and rumours about the Huawei’s new Nova 6 series and we finally have the device official in China. Huawei announced three new devices under the Nova 6 series with Huawei Nova 6, Huawei Nova 6 5G and Huawei Nova 6 SE in China. The HUAWEI nova 6 and nova 6 5G come in Black, Blue, Violet and Red colours. The HUAWEI nova 6 SE comes in Black, Pink and Green colours.
The HUAWEI nova 6 and nova 6 5G with 8GB+128GB cost 3199 Yuan (Rs.32,500/-) for 4G version and 5G version at 3799 Yuan (Rs.38,600/-) whereas the 8GB+256GB at 4199 Yuan (Rs.42,600/-). The HUAWEI nova 6 and nova 6 5G will go on sale from Dec 12 in China. The HUAWEI nova 6 SE cost 2199 Yuan (Rs.22,300/-) in China and will go on sale from Dec 25 in China.
HUAWEI nova 6 and nova 6 5G:
The new HUAWEI nova 6 and nova 6 5G looks almost identical and comes with similar specs and the only difference is 5G support. The new HUAWEI nova 6 and nova 6 5G comes with a premium glass back with a glossy finish. It measures 8.56 mm thick and weighs 197 grams.
The HUAWEI nova 6 and nova 6 5G sports 6.57 inches FHD+ IPS LCD with Dual-punch hole display. It comes with 2.5D curved glass on top. The HUAWEI nova 6 and nova 6 5G is powered by Kirin 990 SoC and comes with Balong 5G chipset on the 5G variant. It coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage.
The HUAWEI nova 6 and nova 6 5G features triple rear cameras with 40MP Sony RYYB camera with an aperture of f/1.8, 8MP secondary 120-degrees ultra-wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/2.4, 8MP telephoto lens with an aperture of f/2.4 and 3x optical zoom with OIS support. On the front, we have got a Dual Selfie camera with 32MP primary sensor with an aperture of f/2.0 and 8MP 105° ultra-wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/2.2. It features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The connectivity option includes Dual Band Wifi, Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE, 5G NSA/SA support, Bluetooth 5.1, Dual-Band GPS, NFC and USB Type-C port. There is no 3.5 mm audio jack on this phone. HUAWEI nova 6 and nova 6 5G packs 4100 mAh and 4200 mAh battery respectively with 40W fast charging support on the 5G version. The Huawei Nova 6 & Nova 6 5G runs on Android 10 with EMUI 10 on top.
HUAWEI nova 6 SE:
Huawei also unveiled the iPhone 11 clone with HUAWEI nova 6 SE which turns out to be the cheapest phone under Nova 6 series. The new HUAWEI nova 6 SE comes with a gradient back and features premium glass design. It measures 8.7 mm thick and 183 grams in weight.
The HUAWEI nova 6 SE sports 6.4 inches FHD+ IPS LCD punch-hole display. The new HUAWEI nova 6 SE is powered by Kirin 810 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage with NM card slot. The HUAWEI nova 6 SE features quad-rear cameras and looks similar to the iPhone 11 camera module.
The new HUAWEI nova 6 SE comes with 48MP primary Sony IMX586 sensor with an aperture of f/1.8, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/2.4, 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 with LED flash. It features 16MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0.
The connectivity option includes Dual Band Wifi, Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0 LE, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC and USB Type-C port. It packs 4200 mAh battery with 40W fast charging support. The device runs on Android 10 with EMUI 10 on top.
