Earlier we got few official teasers revealing everything about the trim down version of Vivo S5 with new Vivo S1 Pro. Now Vivo has quietly launched the new Vivo V17 in Russia which is nothing but the re-branded version of Vivo S1 Pro.
The new Vivo V17 comes in Cloud Blue and Blue Fog colours and will is available for pre-orders. The new Vivo V17 cost RUB22,990 (Rs.26,000/-) in Russia. The new Vivo V17 looks similar to Vivo S5 from the back but on the front, it gets waterdrop display. The new Vivo V17 measures 8.9 mm thick and weighs 190 grams.
The new Vivo V17 sports 6.38 inches FHD+ Super AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Sadly, the new Vivo V17 comes with SD665 SoC same one found on Vivo U10 coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It also features a dedicated microSD card slot.
On the back, the new Vivo V17 features quad-rear cameras with 48MP Samsung GM1 sensor with an aperture of f/1.79, 8MP ultra-wide shooter (108-degrees) along with 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro sensor with LED flash. The new Vivo V17 features a 32MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE, Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port, and 3.5 mm audio jack. The new Vivo V17 packs 4500 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The Vivo V17 runs on Android 9 Pie with FunTouch OS 9.2 on top.
