Earlier we saw few leaks suggesting about Huawei planning to launch the successor to Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 with Huawei Y9s. Now Huawei has finally launched the second pop-up selfie camera phone with Huawei Y9s on its official website. Sadly, the listing doesn’t reveal the pricing and availability details.
The new Huawei Y9s comes with slight design changes as it still features all-display front and pop-up selfie camera. Now the fingerprint scanner is been moved from back to the right side of the device. Further, the camera setup has been changed to triple cameras aligned vertically. It comes in Midnight Black and a colour-changing Breathing Crystal.
Huawei Y9s sports 6.59 inches FHD+ 19.5:9 Ultra Full-View display with 2.5D curved glass on top. The new HUAWEI Y9s is powered by the new Kirin 710F SoC coupled with 6GB RAM. It comes with 128GB internal storage with an option to expand storage via microSD card slot.
The Huawei Y9s features triple rear cameras with 48MP (f/1.8) main sensor along with 2MP (f/2.4) secondary and 8MP Ultra-wide sensor along with LED flash. There is 16MP pop-up selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.2.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, A-GPS, GLONASS, fingerprint scanner, NFC, USB Type-C port. The new HUAWEI Y9s packs 4000 mAh battery. It runs on Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9.0 on top.
