After Samsung and Huawei unveiling their first foldable devices with Galaxy Fold and Huawei Mate X earlier this year, we now got Microsoft entering the race. At the annual hardware event, Microsoft unveiled the very first Dual-screen foldable phone with Microsoft Surface Duo.
The new Microsoft Surface Duo comes with Dual screen attached side-by-side with thicker bezels. One of the screens measures 5.6 inches when unfolded it doubles up as 8.3 inches. The new Microsoft Surface Duo two screens are attached with a 360-degree hinge which can even make calls.
Further, Microsoft also showed the new Project xCloud Xbox game streaming running the game on dual-screen. The new Project xCloud Xbox game streaming will able to automatically deted the dual-screen device and will manage to provide great gaming experience with better controls. The Microsoft Surface Duo runs on Android out of the box.
Further, the Microsoft Surface Duo secondary screen acts like a typing or control screen. Anyway, Microsoft has not revealed the specs of the Microsoft Surface Duo and will be available by end of 2020.
