Google has now officially unveiled the lighter version of Android 10 OS with Android 10 (Go Edition). Earlier we saw Google launching the Android Go Edition OS right from Android 8.1 and here comes the third instalment with Android 10 (Go Edition).
The new Android 10 (Go Edition) gets some new features like Dark Mode, Gesture support and some standard Android 10 features. Further, the Android 10 (Go Edition) is also said to open apps 10% faster than the Android 9 Pie (Go Edition).
Now the Android 10 (Go Edition) comes with a new security feature with Adiantum Encryption. Unlike the Pixel devices come with dedicated security chip Google has now managed to provide similar kind of security feature to software addition. Further, the new Adiantum Encryption will not degrade the performance of the system.
Google has further reduced the size of the Android Go apps like Maps Go, Google Go, Files Go etc. Sadly, none of the manufactures has revealed whether the device will be receiving the Android 10 (Go Edition) apart from Nokia which will push the update to Nokia 1 Plus soon.
